  1. Kentucky got a really good draw, Cal has a chance to take us back to the final 4.
  2. Agreed, if he realizes he isn’t the strongest or most physical guy on the court it seems to effect him.
  3. Shades of West Virginia trying to hit a 3. Barnes is now 10-7 vs. Cal.
  4. How long until we have to fight to stop it?
  5. He’s the kind of lawyer who can get a client off on a technicality. How that’s viewed is subjective.
  6. Oil is down to $108, was at $130 the other day this is why I don’t trade oil. You don’t want to be the last one holding the bag. Hopefully, some level of stability is here. I still see gas around $3.65ish.
  7. You would hope so right? Their economy is based on industrial, ours is based on service. I feel like they have oil, gas, fertilizer and wheat to sell to someone. I don’t know how this ends. Even if they surrender you can’t forgive them.
  8. But we send Javelin SAM’s? I don’t get it? Planes would be provocative, but Javelin’s aren’t?
  9. Russia now says the US has declared “economic” war on us. Alright, now what?
  10. Hope you’re right! I feel like we haven’t seen their true anger response, or frustration response yet. I wonder if when they were firing upon those nuclear reactors, if they were showcasing what they could do.
  11. I’m shocked they already haven’t tried that, or maybe they have but we’re thwarted. I worry a response could be much worse, hope not.
  12. You start to wonder if Russia will reach breaking point soon, or will they consider all of these moves an attack? I feel like we’re entering the slippery stage of the war.
  13. McDonald's says it is temporarily closing 850 restaurants in Russia in response to the Ukraine invasion. The fog of war.
  14. $3.75 to $4 seems like a psychological victory.
  15. Oil up to $127, I’m hoping it holds below $130, certainly $150.
  16. Yes, I believe atrocities/war crimes are being committed. I’ve seen videos of civilians being shot. I’ve seen women killed in recent days on humanitarian missions. That’s not even mentioning civilian buildings being hit with missile strikes.
  17. I actually think China likes Russia taking over the “bad guy” role right now. I think they will sit tight right now. I could actually see them eventually condemning Russia after enough atrocities are committed.
  18. If they have the support I believe they will. It still takes a lot of time to do this. When they’re being told in 2030 we won’t need oil anymore, which isn’t true, or if they fear projects getting cancelled after millions are invested, you will see hesitancy. If they feel supported we can likely fix this issue later this year.
  19. U.S. crude oil production averaged 11.3 million barrels per day (b/d) in 2020, down 935,000 b/d (8%) from the record annual average high of 12.2 million b/d in 2019. The 2020 decrease in production was the largest annual decline in the U.S. Energy Information Administration’s records. We’re in the perfect storm, Covid hurt oil, now green initiative is doubling down. I do think it’s soon to reverse, at the expense of all of us in the meantime.
  20. I’ve heard the same and that shows how far US oil has fallen. A sign of times my friend, the USA is asking Iran and Venezuela for help.
  21. How do you negotiate with Russia at this point? They’re committing war crimes. All of the generals who are executing orders are also committing war crimes killing civilians. You can’t escape war crimes they follow you until your last breath.
  22. We’re just beginning to ramp up. The problem is it takes a lot of time and a lot of manpower to pull oil out of ground, then refine it. We’re gonna have to kindly ask an established oil producing country for help in the meantime.
  23. I wish I had been wrong about this as it relates to the pandemic.
  24. Everything Guru said. At some point, the oil prices will lead to dire consequences for our economy. I’m expecting double digit inflation soon. We must replace Russian oil, we cannot help finance the Ukrainian war. We also need to protect our economy by turning back on American oil. We need to do our best to insulate ourselves from these situations and we need to push for Ukraine to have more weapons. We’re just now authorizing fighter jets 2 weeks into the shelling.
  25. Thoughts and prayers as we all sit and watch/wait for the sanctions to kick in.
