  1. Just makin' sure Larry :thumb:. And I'm definitely glad the Canes won't get to play Bama this year. Well actually I hope they play them around the first week of January, we'd both be very happy guys. Heck I would settle for a OSU type of beating in the Title if Miami could make it.
  2. I love the enthusiasm my friend. :thumb: And I'd probably rather Cobb take home the Heisman than any other player in college football, I just don't think it's realistic or even that possible.
  3. I just didn't like the wording that it was the premier camp to go to in America, because it's not. It's a great camp and recruiting tool for UF, nothing more & nothing less. Still it is a huge deal for Pike to get invited there. An offer from Bama last week and a trip to UF's Friday Night Lights...you can't do much better than that.
  4. Just wait on King this year. I think he's really going to show out if the QB play gets better. Obviously I agree UK isn't ready to take the SEC East. I wish they would, but 3rd place would be a heck of an accomplishment.
  5. UKfan I love the enthusiasm but are you serious? I love Randall Cobb, but WR just don't win the Heisman that often. UK doesn't have a proven QB, and UK would have to win probably 10 games at a minimum for him to even get recognized I think. Cobb is great, just can't see him in NY this or next season.
  6. If you don't care keep us updated GT. You've been the best source for early info on UK basketball recruiting. Keep up the good work :thumb:.
  7. As far as a college teams camp, I agree, UF does it better than anyone IMO. But it's only a UF thing, so I can't say that it's the premier camp to attend in the country. It's always loaded with great players, though this year alot of top guys are not going.
  8. An update at Noon said that he had arrived in Gainesville and would be participating in FNL. It's on Florida's Scout board. Update was given by Jason Higdon. I guess that settles the "I wonder if he's really going down there" debate.
  9. I didn't even know they had fantasy football then. Are you the founder of the whole thing ?
  10. How many do they have listed? The Gators show a strong preference at FNL for guys they really, really, want. He also may be a late invite, I know they had a couple of big name guys cancel in the last few weeks.
  11. Hmmm.......Gilchrist, Teague, Davis, Rivers and a Big man. I would really like that.
  12. Sometimes Whipples game plan makes up for poor blocking or tough defenders and sometimes it doesn't. I'd guess that Pat Hill and Mike James would be helping out quite a bit from the fullback position in blocking. I'm not as worried about OSU's defense as I am their offense. Miami isn't going to score 40 on OSU, but I think they'll have some big plays like they do every game. I just don't know if the U can stop anyone.
  13. I think 11-12 is the last year of KG's deal, but it could be this off-season coming up.
  14. Hey man Miami is a top 15 team let's not compare them to UL Monroe or Memphis . Canes winning would be an upset, but I don't think many think it would be an all-timer.
  15. I hope Henderson doesn't get to find out. I'm not much on true freshman starting on the OL. As good as he is, if Henderson starts against OSU Jacory Harris is going to be in alot of trouble.
  16. Boston could do it if they really wanted to and NO was willing to take Rondo. Pierce for Anthony this upcoming off-season (helps both teams somewhat I think). Garnett's money comes off the same year Howard is a free agent I think. Not going to happen but I think it would be possible.
  17. I hadn't thought of that. That sounds like something that could have been happeing. I like that theory.
  18. Anyways if CP3 is wanting to do the Super team thing I think he should find a way to team with Melo and Dwight Howard. That team would be a nightmare for anyone, Lakers and Heat included.
  19. JA, I was sneaking in some smack talk . To be honest with you I don't know how any recruit wouldn't have OSU in their top 5. I honestly think it may be the best place to play football in America. You have city life, but not too big of a city. You get to play in the Big 10, for a fan base that is both huge and crazy. Money will always be there when the team needs it for upgrades and such. Their always in a BCS game and have tons of tradition. You get a ton of exposure playing on this side of the country. Alabama and Texas are really the only schools that I think can be compared.
  20. It was a joke Larry. I love my Canes, but realistically I'm expecting OSU to win, especially at home. However, the year after....
  21. I said that too after watching the movie. And I loved the Departed and Gangs of New York.
