I hate that for wes. He is a good kid and a good ball player. Hopefully with the week off and Tyrone to carry the load when we play Harlan he can get the rehab he needs and bounce back when we pick back up in the district play.

Dayton is a good team. I expected us to win but not for the game to be decided in the last 2 minutes. #3, #14, #21, and #26 were some good athletes. How much did Daytons #21 remind you of our #21? I am glad he did not get more touches!

I hope we have Wagner and Steele back by the Williamsburg game.

Yes they did, some was as nervous as I was. A couple had come to the Clinton Co. game and I told them what to expect and to come back. They were not dissapointed. I would like to say that the Lynn Camp faithful for showing their team some much needed appreciation. They were in full force and that is what I expect from them every game.

Anything to speak of? Tyrone is ok isn't he? I noticed Sapcut did not dress and Steele wasnt out there. Lanham, Rice, and Ammon looked to be limping a bit.

I was glad to help and no thanks needed, I always feel appreciated and this is my way of contributing. I would have came over there but I had invited friends and family to see the game because I knew it would be a barn burner.

I hate that for Fritts and Corbin. Hopefully the MRI will give better than expected results. You guys should be fine with Watkins and Campbell. I hope you do not have a rash of injuries like we have had, we are down to our 4th RB.

The muffed punt kind of had me muffed myself. At first I thought it had hit the Lynn Camp player when he had his back turned. There was a Dayton player between the Lynn Camp player fielding the punt and the Lynn Camp player it hit. They were all withing a few feet of the player fielding the punt. I would love to see a replay of that one to figure it out. I can see your point on that play! Halo interference was the call I believe.

Dayton had 1 touchdown called back for a block in the back, they had a long pass called back for holding and a long punt return called back for a block in the back. All were legitimate calls from what I saw but the 1st half punt return for a touchdown there was a block in the back right in front of the Ref that went un called. It was a close and hard fought game. It is a shame thats someone has to loose but it is sports and games have to be settled on the field. We both had penalties that could have made the difference but I understand how you feel. Dayton is a good team that is only 0-5 because they play tough competition. They have some good athletes #14,#21,#26, and #3. This game could have went either was and was war much like last years game. Best of luck the rest of the season.

1st half was a Defensive battle with Dayton scoring on a punt return. 7-0 2nd half Lynn Camp marches down the field on the opening drive behind Tyron Persons who scored the touchdown and 2 point conversion. 8-7 Last play of the 3rd quarter Dayton breaks for a long rushing touchdown but the 2 point conversion fails. 13-8 4th quarter Lynn Camp marches down the field behind Tyron Persons and scores on 4th and goal from the 1 yard line, 2 point conversion fails. 14-13 With 2 minutes left in the game Dayton drives down the field only to be picked off at the 5 yard line with 40 seconds left.

I was not at the game last year but I remember someone posting a pic of the block in the back that resulted in a touchdown for Dayton. The player cramping up was our star running back so he had to come out after each official time out so we were on the short end of that stick. The touchdown that was ignored was our last drive when we broke the goal line but the players progress was ruled stopped as he fell forward into the end zone. We dont have a band at Lynn Camp but we have a good sound system and a collection of AC/DC, Metallica......ect.

This definately is a Redhound team that everyone under estimated.

I wish Sydneys Brother Tyler would come out and play. I have a feeling he would be an good reciever. I was watching him catch 35-40 yard passes before the Harlan Co. game with one hand while talking on his cell phone. He has good size, speed, and athletism. I know the hallways at Lynn Camp are full of athletes. It sounds like Coach Mitchell might have been sparked some interest.
