Yeah, I have watched Simon Kenton all last year and they looked so impressive but something just went wrong in the regional finals.. idk what happened?

I think this will be Simon Kenton's first win of the season. I look for S.K to come out strong and will have a all around good game.

Maddox has grown into a solid player over the years. I can see him being a top player this year.

Yeah. I agree with that.Someone else must have score alot, because I remember the first few games, the Cats had a few games in the 90's or more. Very impressive. Are they good enough to make a Regional Run? I think maybe just another All A' run.

Was he a three point shooter? Or is he more of a slasher?

Will Shelby Co. beat up Simon Kenton this year again in the Regional Finals like last year? I think Simon will be the team to beat with there guard combo this year. Gray does have an unbelievable shot from the out side but 2 good players are sometimes better than one awesome player. Guess well have to see. Hargett scores alot off taking it to the hoop, but I always think of a slasher is a guard. She handles the ball well when she drives so that makes me believe that she can handle the rock pretty good. But at the same time I also see your point. Not shooting three's or being the point could make you into a smalll forward player. I think Gray and Tolliver are the best two guards with Heeger from WV somewhere high on the list(shooter,lights out) and Cochran and Jones are always on the top end of the list in the 8th.

What were Maddow's numbers last year? and Who will take JR's place down low? I've watched Gallatin many times but don't know much about there up and coming class. Who will be there down low man? Do they have one?

I would consider Hargett a guard. If she is, where would she be in the list? (she would be one of the top)

Who do you all think will be the top ten guards this year in the eight region?

Has any one seen the All A' bracket yet?

I saw Gallatin play many many times last season, and I'd have to say they looked good through out the year, but I think last year was their year to really make anything happen. I think that this year they will be good but won't make much noise in the Regional Turny. In the All A' I'd give them the edge to win but other than that, thats all you'll see from Gallatin.

Gallatin- Who are they returing? Edmondson, perkins left. Who will be their go to guy this season?

Carroll/Walton will be rough and exciting game. I think whoever win's this game will be starting their buses up for Richmond. I think Walton has some depth (the coach gave J.V players alot of playing time in the varsity games) which will help Walton's depth. And Carroll will have problems scoring but there "D" should create alot of their points this season off of turn-overs. Hopefully Walton can handle the full court press.

What grade is Derek Bryan in? Haven't heard much about him?

Who does Carroll County have? I saw a game somewhere this summer, (not remembering what gym) but i didn't seen them have anyone returning but I like how hard they played.

I think anyone could win because well on any given night, anything could happen! But watching Carroll and Walton this summer, they have the edge. Walton is coming together (after getting use to their new coaching) and Carroll just has some talent that will make them a solid team, with outstanding "d". Walton hopefully will play more aggressive, and will have a ballhandler that will cut down their turn-overs. but I still think these two teams have the best chance to go to Richmond.

what was trimble's record last year?

I've seen jones play, for the past few years and I would have to say he is one of the best stand still shooters i've seen in a long time. I think if ponzer can take crae of the ball for walton they will be fine and maybe be the sleeper in the 8th. But idk how strong Ponzer will be when he faces quicker people? Who knows? Simon Kenton-Do you all think Simon will be better than last year? I think last year was simons one chance to make it to state and it just didn't happen. i wish it did because Hester, Hurd, and El deserved it, but how good can the play against OC again? or anderson? I still say their the two teams to beat.

I agree. Ponzer is the best gaurd Simon has. It will be up to him to handle the ball throughout the game. And for Maegley.. Watching him play in J.V and varsity last year he needs to get more agressive. Well take that back, alot more agreesive. To soft in the post, but with his size and touch he could become a force in the post when he starts to gets agressive.

I have seen him play from his simon kenton days, to his first years at walton and a little over the summer. His shot is not great but attacks the rim hard. He seems like he needs to hit the weight room alot to become a good good player. Who will Walton have to help Ponzer out? Any one?
