On 3rd and 3 Runion keeps the ball and gets 15 yrds for the 1st down.

Runion takes off for the Juggs first play from scrimmage and gets nearly 20 yrds.

The first pass attempt goes down as a sack for the Juggs. Carroll goes to the air again on 4th down and the pass is incomplete. Turn over on downs.

After getting a quick first down the panthers are facing a 3rd and short.

Nothing but handoffs so far for the panthers. I don't blame them with their 2 big RBs.

Deep kick from Bruner and no coverage for the Juggs. Carroll returns the ball to Lloyd's 45.

Carroll wins the toss and elects to receive.

You clearly haven't read all most posts on this thread if you think I care about little Johnny's heart. I don't think Boone County should get to go to the playoffs cause they are winless. But you mean to tell me a Bishop Brossart at (9-1) shouldnt get to go to the playoffs cause of their strength of schedule? Come on give me a break look at the size of the school/program and who they play. Their opponents are on the weaker side in the grand scheme of things but you can't expect them to play a Scott, BW, Conner and Holmes. I like the Ohio system in the sense it breeds competition but I like the KY system because it gives a fair and legit shot to the middle of the road teams. I went to Lloyd that is the only reason I'm even speaking out for this if I would have went to a Highlands, Colerian, Trinity, BW, St. X or where ever I doubt I would care in the least bit. But I went where I did and that is my piece. Just trying to get the other side of the argument out there and have a good conversation.

But I go back to my argument that if you are a weaker to middle of the road team no strong opponent will want to schedule you so getting a tougher schedule is tricky. Plus the kids are the ones being snubbed. I'm not for participation ribbons and giving everyone a playoff trip like we do. I don't completely agree with KYs system but IMO I think it is more fair.

I am in no way shape or form very knowledgable of the system it's self. I should have put a disclaimer before my comment about the scoring. This was from 6 yrs ago from what a coach told his kids about not making the playoffs in Ohio for div 3. Or something could have been lost in translation from the young man to myself.

I understand that and I'm not condoning that but those teams are knocked out rather quickly. My biggest argument is for the kids, they have no say in scheduling and realistically they are the ones being punished.

I'm not a 100% supporter of KY's system but I think it is way more fair than Ohio's. The #1 seed has to face the hardest road to get to ship? There has been several years were 8 and 9 win teams snubbed from the playoffs simply cause they didn't score enough? I'm all for a tough regular season schedule but you can only do so much when the tougher schools won't schedule a weaker opponent. I feel bad for the kids who work their butts off and at the end of the season they have nothing to show for it cause the coaches and administrators didn't get them the games they needed to make the playoffs. Those are just my quick thoughts on it.

Strongly pulling for the Mustangs, the staff and those young men deserved/earned every win and our admiration. Now it is playoff time, Raceland is battle hardened so with a sad heart I say 28-14 Rams. There are no moral victories at this level but if BB can give the Rams a game it will be closest thing to a moral victory for that program.

Maybe I'm a little bias being from KY but seriously, Ohio has the most ignorant playoff system. Is there any other state that does their playoffs like the state to the north? Do the people in Ohio even like their own system?

@blackgoldredwhtiger why is it that you always vote against the Juggs? It seems no matter who the opponent is you pick Lloyd to lose every week. I just find it curious that you click on Lloyd's thread week in and week out to vote for their opponent, and never share a post as why.

I just want the Juggs to make it out of this one whole. Don't care what the score is just as long as the Juggs get the W.

I heard that too and I'm not going to bring the issue up after this post because the Juggs won. But wow that could have ended badly.

First thing is first congratulations to the young who went down there and took care of business. Listened to majority of the game and was very excited to hear the offense impose their will especially on the ground. Now what in the world happen with the defense? Why can't the Juggs put teams away? The Juggs drive down the field or hit a home run then Harrison is moving the ball knocking on the door of the endzone. I don't get it, my buddy said Lloyd was head and shoulders above the competition last night. Also why did Lloyd allow the score to get this close? I mean this looks like they almost came back to win.

The way I look at you should be playing your starters to get a rhythm but as soon as the game is in hand pull them out. Its a tough situation when the game really doesn't matter. But momentum means alot. What do you think. I would have the boys go into this game business as usual. This game does matter. This is your adjustment game. You can make or break your confidence going into the playoffs. You want to go into the playoffs with a little bit of swag. The offense and defense needs to know they can go out and get things done. Starters on both sides of the ball need to be on the same page. Defensive needs to understand that on 3rd down you can't give up big plays, and what better time to practice than in a game. For the love of everything that is holy get special teams fixed. Players need and have to know when they are suppose to be on the field and when to be on the sideline. Valuable TOs can not be wasted early in the first quarter because you only have 10 on the field for your punt team. All this can be accomplished this week. Football is a mental game. Knowing what to do and when to do it. Having the mentally that you can do this and got it goes a long way. So this game IMO not only matters but is critical.

I'm curious to hear what happens in this game, particularly with starters playing and for how long. From what I'm hearing, it sounds like HC will be scratching, clawing, biting and fighting (not literally) with pride on the line in this game. They really want the win and 5-5 record going into the playoffs. Does Lloyd have that same desire and fire to get a W before going into the playoffs a 2nd seed?

I am sorry to because, I have to inform you that you guys are wrong. Michael Mitchell IS on the front line. He is the one HC kept kicking at. Don't believe me go back and look at the film. But atleast you are correct about Bruner

How good is Bourbon County this year? What all did they do differently against them?

Unfortunately, no I will not be able to make the trek. I will be relying on friends and or the kindness of other BPGers to update the game thread. That is why I'm kinda disappointed right now I wanted to get a good discussion going to understand what the Juggs are up against.
