I completely missed that they played NCC. As far as the starters playing the whole game that is a double edged sword. You don't want to lose anyone to injuries but you got to get the game reps in because next week is do or die. Plus the sloppiness of the Holy Cross game needs to be fixed.

You know I think it is kind of funny to look at the people who vote in these polls on the threads. If you pay real close attention you can notice trends. Some people vote and no matter what they will vote against certain teams. Amusing but I digress. Where does Harrison County get their officials from? Can anyone speak to the kind of team Harrison County is? Run/Pass heavy? Defensive schemes? Who are their play makers?

I saw that Harrison County won last week and have clinched a home playoff bid for the first time in several years, congrats Thoroughbreds. I would like to hear from some of the Harrison faithful or people with general knowledge of the team to see what I will be missing Friday night. I know that we had a mutual opponent in the Braves of GC and the score was close (W 34-27) just like the Juggs game (W 36-33 OT), but scores can be miss leading. So lets here it people.

Both teams are coming off of big Ws. :clap: Who is going to win and why? Just a heads up, I most likely will not be able to attend this contest, :cry: so hopefully someone will pick up the slack on the play by play. I can already tell ya I will be texting (pestering) friends for updates.

Michael Mitchell is on the front line of the return team. Which stands roughly 11-12 from the ball. Using your numbers Lloyd on average started at the 43 yrd line doing nothing to return, while HC had to work to return the ball then had average starting spot was 34 yrd line. Also I wasn't just talkin about from where HC started their offensive drives. I was saying Bruner's kicks to the 20ish yrd line makes the opponents go majority of the field. HC had to earn the return yards then go roughly 60-70 for the score. A lot better then what the Juggs were doing by kicking short. Essentially giving up free yards and not making the special teams earn them. It gave the opponent an extremely short field in only having to go but 50-60 yrds for the score. All I'm trying to do is give Lloyd's new kicker credit. It would be an honor to have HC come back in 4 weeks.

Bruner's kick were going back to around the 25-20, while Scott's were kicked almost going immediately into the ground right at the front line and many fielded by the front line which is only a 10 yrd kick not 20-25 yrds. Now that may have be by design but that wasn't close to what Lloyd did (this week). I just don't want anything taken away from Bruner on his kicks that were fantastic from what the Juggs KOs have been all season. It makes a world of difference making your opponents start deep in their territory and have to go almost the full length of the field.

HC had 2 kickers warming up before the game that looked good. They chose to kick it short. Maybe that was their game plan cause Lloyd has several dangerous return men and they didn't have confidence in their cover team.

It was definitely a shock to see Eric Bruner kicking, but I have seen plenty of teams use a big boy to just boom it. Doesn't have to be pretty just get the desired results but he did both lol. They still didn't try a PAT though. My guess is they couldn't afford to pull Bruner off the line to kick and have another big body to plug in with all the injuries to the line. Hopefully this week they keep developing the kicking game and find some one to kick the PATs.

Yea, I figured that is what happen. It looked like it hyperextended and to add a helmet directly to it is just nasty. Prayers go out to the player, family and team. The Juggs know all to well about knee injuries. They have had what 4-5 in the past 2 yrs. Smh, sad thing to happen to a young man.

The Juggs are a big play team. They don't always try to make it happen but it just does. Going up against another big play team it defendly tested the teams resolve. This was a must win and needs to be a what not to do anymore game. Sloppy tackling and missed assignments all around. This is when tomorrow in films you say guys glad we got that out of our system and came out with a W, but let's not ever do that again.

I believe that is true from 1-3 also. That's without looking back at the NCC/HC score.

Long story short, no one knows why the Juggs do it.

Tark, I agree with you that Gaines is a playmaker and thoroughbred who needs to get the ball more but there is no rhythm to the passing game. A lot of the routes that are ran are timing routes and the others are deep routes. These guys can never get in sync with the rotating QBs and the deep balls are either over or under thrown. That is because there is no consistency in the play calls. There hasn't been any progression in this facet of the Juggs game. They did make the necessary adjustment to get a kicker so let's see what steps are taken this week to improve.

^ Gaines is missing atleast 1 catch I know for a fact was the 2 pt conversion. But I counted 3 for him. Either way these stats are just off the chart I'm blown away but then again discouraged.

Yes a few times through the air and several handoffs. Theme of tonights game was ground and pound. Rex Ryan would be proud of both teams. Both sides kept feed their main RB and let them go to work.

That maybe true but I felt #21 was killin us. He was a bigger play maker IMO, 1 man highlight reel.

Really don't know what to make of this game. I knew it was going to be very evenly matched and a back and forth scoring game, but had no idea it was going to be what it turned out to be. At this point I don't know what this post season will bring for the Juggs or what Juggs show up to the post season.
