"Missed it by that much." is another I use fairly often. And on occasion, " My advice to you is to start drinking heavily." I'm surprised our friend Bluto didn't list that one.

Was already planning on two. Got a good deal on the other two. Ammo is going to be tough to get for several months, and it is not uncommon for MrsC and I to shoot 300-400 rounds a weekend. As long as they don't close our gun range, she'll shoot that much herself this weekend getting a feel for her Hellcat.

I went back in pretty much full force on Monday right around the time the DOW hit 18,800. My advisor believes that there are still going to be plenty of ups and downs, but we're guessing/praying we're are at the beginning of a directional change. Now is the time to double up on your investments if you can. Especially if you are in long term.

I know in theory how they work. Have never fooled with one though. It's basically a hollow conductor. It's because electrical energy passes on the outside of wires. Only the electrons pass through the wires. Therefore in a Faraday cage all of the electrical energy passes around the outside leaving a hollow conductor.

MrsC and I picked up 4 new guns and 4,000 rounds of ammo just this week. She loves her new Springfield Hellcat 9mm.

I don't think there's much concern about side effects. The malaria drug has been used since the 40's. Z-packs have been around for a long time too. Hoarding on the other hand. Let's just hope not.

Pretty much everybody on here is going to know people who lose their businesses over this. We are going to know even more people who will lose they jobs and savings, because small businesses can't make it. We are going to know people who go bankrupt. People who's families are destroyed by divorce. People who will turn to crime.

Fortunately MrsC's job and my job are not in danger at this time. We have no debt at all. Our financial guy moved 75% of our money to gold and cash equivalents right after Christmas. He moved the rest out when the DOW hit 24k, so we've only lost 3-4%, and are positioned to make a bunch on the turn around. We're gonna live our lives as normal as possible. We'll probably actually save money, because we won't be going out much. Only...

I work for Amazon. They announced today that we are ramping up to holiday peak status to handle the orders coming in. Any Amazon employee that wants to be tested, will get the day off with pay to go test. If anyone were to test positive they will get two weeks paid leave.

This is the 19th strain of covid. I read that most people at sometime has had one of the other Corona virus strains at some point and had no idea. They simply did the same thing they would do for the flu, and got better. Just do the things you would normally do during flu season.
