Big Slick
The boys from A-Town don't get too many chances to run the score up on anybody, they have taken more than their share of them in the past.
TAC
The boys from A-Town don't get too many chances to run the score up on anybody, they have taken more than their share of them in the past. I was hoping to see a box score on this game in the paper, but the Grove seldom calls in scores to the Enquirer. My guess is both teams were able to put a lot of names into the scorers sheet last night. Augusta has too much class to run up a score and I know the Grove's coach always demands the best of his players and that they will give 100% for him. I can assure you that Coach Hinson isn't going to run it up on anybody. He's way to class a guy for that. SG just doesnt have the talent to play with many teams this year. I'm sure they'll be back very soon.
goallout25
I am confident that Coach Hinson wasn't running up the score. However, I do know that when Brossart beat Silver Grove earlier this year (83-15) that there were some remarks about that not being ok and that the winning team in these instances should be able to keep the margin a little less lopsided. This doesn't feel much different with the margins of victory being similar. But not quite the same reactions here. I'm not saying that there should be. It's just easier I think for people to get on Brossart or other schools for large margins of victory because they win more often, but forgive a school like Augusta because they've taken their share of beatings. Just a thought.
