Game closer than score indicates.

Now the Rocks can turn their attention to Mad. Central. I was worried about this game and am quite satisfied that Trinity came away with a win.

Top-ranked Louisville Trinity defeated rival St. Xavier 63-45 in front of 5,743 fans at Freedom Hall in Louisville. Senior Charles Foster led the Shamrocks with 17 points.

I think T came out flat figuring they would blow X out. Started 2nd half with a bit more purpose on D and took care of business.

It still amazes me that X cannot get the talent on the basketball floor that they get on the football field. This hasn't been a game for many years. It seem for past 4-5 years T just lets X hang around and then takes over when they need to!

Game much closer that I thought it would be. Congrats to T.

I have to say I had some of the best laughs during this game than I have had in a long time. Quality entertainment!

Last year game went two overtimes before Trinity won by 3
