January 8, 201214 yr I’m not surprised by the Bengals. They were overrated and give too much praise this season. Their season was set up by the lack of competition on their schedule. They played only 4 teams with a winning record this year. If Baltimore, Pitt, and San Fran were removed from their schedule the win loss record of the remaining teams are 42-84.
January 8, 201214 yr He is a great one and definitely a difference maker. But the difference in the game is just what you said - turnovers. It is always the difference between winning and losing in the NFL. Biggest disappointment for me today is the play of the Bengals defensive line. Getting run over and little to no pressure on the QB. Pitiful effort. So bad they can't even shove Foster out of bound while he was tight-roping the sideline just now.
January 8, 201214 yr Hey ! I'm a homer but we made the playoffs as the third team in our division. Who'd a thunk dat when the season started ? :thumb:
January 8, 201214 yr Better season than anyone expected. I know they are young and it is promising, but they are still too far away from being a team that is threat in the playoffs to expect much more out of them next year.
January 8, 201214 yr Hey ! I'm a homer but we made the playoffs as the third team in our division. Who'd a thunk dat when the season started ? :thumb: This is true. Just hoped they could have made a better account of themselves in a playoff game.
January 8, 201214 yr For a rough and tumble AFC North team built to stop the run, the Bengals have been embarrassing in that category the last two weeks.
