Good game. Very physical. Most fire I have seen Boyle play with all year. West Jessamine is a very good defensive team. Probably the best defensive team we have seen. Boyle didn't get good looks at all tonight and West held Micah Satterly to 5 points and he may have taken 6 shots the whole game. Their point guard did a great job of not letting him free all night.

 

It was 31-25 late in the third quarter and West went on a run to make it 39-28 after 3. They made their free throws down the stretch to create the bigger margin.

 

I'll take this loss. I loved our fire and effort and we kept after it the whole game.

Boyle shot 27% for the game. West shot 51%.

 

Boyle was 7-10 from the line and West was 17-30.

 

Daulton Peters led West with 17 points and Heath Jackson added 13. Chase Fain had 12.

 

Michael Arnett led Boyle with 14 points and 12 rebounds and Kyle Rice and Brett Jones both had 7 points.

Still alot of season left to play. With the fire and effort, it will help in the games to come.

Now that you've seen Boyle against West Jessamine how would you rank the 12th Region? Maybe that would be a good thread. I haven't seen enough region teams to rank them.

I thought West Jessamine was a very good team with a lot of energy and aggressive defenders. They shot poorly from the FT line though in their 2 games I watched, I mean not very good and they still won. This may come back to haunt them.

 

Boyle losing by 20 is very suprising as I thought they were a formideable team.

 

I havent seen Pulaski Co or Southwestern but they seem to be the top teams on paper.

That's why I read them. That's my option.

 

And it's our option to discuss and rank the teams. Nothing on this board helps "get you to Rupp".

4. East Jessamine

 

5.-10. McCreary Central, Wayne County, Lincoln County, Boyle County and Somerset in any order.

I like Pulaski County better than Southwestern as I think they score the ball better. That should be a great game. On paper they should be rated as equals.
