Doesn't seem massive to me if you have waiver wire periods each week, and you limit the amount of transactions you can make in a week or season.

 

Seems dumb to have people sitting on your bench that are playing games if you have vacant spots in your lineup.

Decent points, but I don't like to limit the transactions a manager can do with his team. The guys already go on waivers now though...

 

Guess it's just a difference of opinion. But it's a bench for a reason. You have your starters + an extra G,C,F + utility spots already playing.

 

Though, nobody isn't saying you can't max out your starts in any way you choose to do it.

Just the 5 starters and 3 utility spots is fine if you have to spend the whole season benching half of your team while they are playing so you don't max your team out in February like I will. The math will all add up in the end though. I think. We'll see. .

Doing an experiment the rest of the week. If I don't like the results I'll be the first to max out.

You don't have to bench half your team. You have three bench spots for things like injuries, suspensions, etc. You CAN use all your players, nobody is preventing that.
