For those that are looking for some exciting games to attend over the Christmas break, check out the Gateway Holiday Classic in Mt. Sterling. 8 girls teams and 8 boys teams using the "Arena" and the "Barn".

The Boys Tournament will have 2011 Sweet 16 participant Marshall County, plus Bryan Station, Madison Central, Owen County, Harrison County, Campbell County and Louisivlle Male in addition to Montgomery County.

The Girls Tournament will host 2011 Sweet 16 teams - Clay County, Montgomery County, Walton-Verona and Madison Central plus Boone County, Bryan Station, Marshall County, South Oldham

Every year this tournament gets better teams and better talent coming to Mt. Sterling. Great several days of basketball. Two gyms in the same building right next to each other with staggered starting times so that there is action going on all the time!

I like the teams and matchup better in the Joe B. Hall Classic. I plan to attend that one.

Let's see what happens in this tourney.

Heading down to Mt Sterling on Weds to support my Camels. Will be a tough first game against Madison Central. Two of the better Juniors in the state square off in Dominique Hawkins and Nate McGovney.

I would think that Madison Central would be the favorite to win, but don't cout out Montgomery Co. Is Handshoe playing?
