Crazy dominance!

How many boy/girl sweeps is that for St Henry this decade?

Congrats to St. Henry - they've been a powerhouse in Class A XC for quite a while.

Is cross country the only high-school sport where 13 and 14 year-olds (girls, in class A and AA anyway) routinely contend for individual state championships?

Class A - 1st place - 9th grader, 3rd place - 8th grader

Class AA - 1st place - 7th grader, 3rd place - 8th grader, 4th place - 9th grader, 5th place - 8th grader

10th straight win for the boys.

3rd title in four years for the girls.

3 seniors on the boys team. Junior Daniel Wolfer led in 4th place (not 3rd as previously posted.)

6 seniors on the girls team. Senior Ashley Svec came in 10th place, behind 2nd place Linsey Hinken. Ashley really came through for her team because she has been out since Oct. 1st recovering from a shin stress fracture.

Especially happy for girls coach Tony Harden to get that win! He is a dedicated coach who has helped develop some awesome runners, a couple moving on to run in college, I think.

Great Day for students, parents, alumni, faculty.
