Bit of an upset and surprise!!

Final from Williamsburg

Way to go Jackets!! Good luck in the finals. :thumb:

Sorry to hear that the Green Dragons lost. Congrats to the Yellow (Orange) Jackets - Good luck in the next round!

Great overall game by the Jackets but what a great effort by the Jacket Defense...

Conj: on Win. How did Dalton play??

Well my feet have yet to touch the ground on this one. Knew we had a great game plan going in but it was up to the kids to execute, and wow did they ever! Corey Shelton had a huge night receiving with over 100 yards, also had an 82 yard interception return and a fumble recovery. Skyler Griffith had another huge night with close to 100 yards receiving. Jefferson Patrick ran hard and he, Logan Hamlin, Dakota Loy, and Chris Helton were lights out on defense. Jason Sisk wreaked havoc on D as well with 4 or 5 sacks. The Burg's defense shut Harlan down big time. Sizemore managed the game well with almost 300 yards passing and no turnovers.

I usually don't gloat but someone who will remain nameless said our district wouldn't advance far in the playofffs, pretty much said one and done...well all I can say is congrats Jackets...you're in the region finals for only the second time in school history!! Keep believing guys...Hazard's going to be tough, but you all remember you have..

Jacket Pride!!

Great post cnc! Congrats again on the win and the best of luck in the Region final.

I understand your last comment, we have dealt with some of that through the years ourselves. One example is when the great Raceland/Russell rivalry was renewed after years of not playing. I heard stuff like "no way should play them" "will be lucky to win any" and alot of other stiff like that. Well, Russell won the first one and since then '"Lil Brother" as we were called has won the last four and counting. Seems like Lil Bro got fed up with big bro', uh? :D
