November 9, 201114 yr I'll say this: If David Williams was running against a monkey, and there were no 3rd party candidate I considered viable, I'd have voted for the monkey. As it is, I actually think that Breshear/Abramson was a GOOD vote yesterday. I'm actually excited to have made it, unlike many votes I've made in the past.

I despise all four of those politicians... I felt REALLY GOOD about my Gatewood vote though. Just sad that I knew the outcome when I made it.

I seem to be unlikemost people. I absolutely love Jerry Abramson and believe he'll be great for the state (to the extent that he has any influence). I loved him as mayor. Honestly. I really, really liked him as our mayor.

November 10, 201114 yr I voted for Gatewood yesterday. I voted for Perot in 92. If a pile of dog excrement runs as an independent in the presidential election next year, it'll get my vote. The D and R parties are so corrupted by power and influence, I just can't stomach them anymore. Here is a final thought that will cause some to bristle....... A well-timed terrorist attack on the capitol during a joint session of congress would bring tears to my eyes. Whether those tears would be caused by relief or glee, I'm not sure.

I knew Beshear would win, but I voted for Gatewood because I REALLY wanted to see Williams come in 3rd thus showing that an independent candidate could be a viable option. Unfortunately, there are too many voting robots in this country who can't see past the D or R parties.

I would have voted for virtually anyone over the two main guys. But I do believe Gatewood would be the best governor. I think this state could really use two things to help it's economy: legalized gaming and the legalization of marijuana/hemp. Gatewood is for both of those issues. Plus, I've met and interacted with him on several occasions, I like the guy and he is what I want in a leader. Also, if there is one area where I can be swayed from my libertarian beliefs it's agriculture and the environment. Gatewood has always been a big supporter of this state's agriculture industry and is strongly against MTR. I just realized...I am a hippy.
