Lot of speed on both sides of the ball who wins and why?

Have a feeling line play will determine this matchup.

If Glasgow can stop Bardstown's QB then they will roll right over them.

Scotties are a great team. However, have they faced this kind of speed this year? Bardstown is a multi-faceted attack with not just the QB, but 2 different outstanding receivers and 4 regular other ballcarriers with excellent speed.

This is a long and storied rivalry dating back several decades. Former Glasgow coach Eubank and former Bardstown coach Downs were old friends and there were some great games between this teams in the 90's and early part of this decade. Interesting side note: Bardstown has never lost on Glasgow's field.

Glasgow 35-28.

Glasgow Scotties

Last Week: defeated Washington County 63-6

All-Time Second Round Record: 7-4

Bardstown Tigers

Last Week: defeated Metcalfe County 60-0

All-Time Second Round Record: 8-8

**Second round began in 1991**

Past Playoff Meetings

1988 - Glasgow 21 Bardstown 20 (OT)

2001 - Bardstown 21 Glasgow 0

Give me Bardstown in an upset 35-33.

Is this the best second round game in Kentucky? Should be a really good ballgame.

I was wrong about my stat. Talked to a member of Bardstown's 1988 team who says they lost 21-20 at Glasgow when the Scotties converted a 4th and 35 pass play. That was on 11/11/88.

Bardstown by a point 28-27
