Here are the pairings for the opening round of the Ashland Invitational Tournament 12/27-29/11 :

 

Warren Central vs. Lincoln County

Clark County vs. Pendleton County

 

Ashland vs. Woodford County

Rowan County vs. Christian County

GRC vs. Pendleton County in the opening round will be one the 10th region pays attention to for sure. Will Jay Johnson be back for Woodford County?

Early in the season I agree, by tourney time both will get better.

Good, he can stomp a mudhole in Ashland right out of the gate.

Glad to see some teams that are bringing this tournament back to life. Back in the 90's it was the premier tournament in the state that I can remember.

Great field this year especially the Rowan Co vs. CC game.

Christian County is a mystery, maybe westsider can enlighten us on what they really return. I think graduation gutted them, but I may be mistaken.

CC graduated 5 key players from last years team. The only starter to return is Keon Wheeler. They also have a new coach in Tyler Smithhart.

 

Agree on them being a mystery. Not the same team as last year. Hard to replace a coach and 5 players. IMO they are a sleeper in their region this year. According to the Cats Pause they are the 4th ranked team in the 2nd region.
