November 1, 201114 yr Author OU was a 30 point favorite at home and laid an egg. I do not think you are too far off in your assumption. And yet here they sit in the perfect position to jump an undefeated Boise team if all they do is win out. There's no way anyone can logically look at the rankings and not think OU will jump Boise if they beat OKST on the road. The numbers just aren't in Boise's favor at all.

Even if Boise leaves after this season for the Big East or any other automatic qualifying conferences, they were not in one if they do make the game and win it, which again are big if's, which is what possibly strengthens it for the non-BCS conferences.

All the fake Boise State fans will have to shut up finally. I'd almost like to see it, so when Bama or LSU beats them by 3 scores, they'll never sniff the BCS again.
November 1, 201114 yr If anything has come out of this realignment fiasco, it is that nothing matters except money. TV money. ESPN money. ESPN and CBS wants bowls. Lots of Bowls. The BCS, or something like it, will always be in place. Best case of anything close to a playoff is a plus one.
