Way to go coach! This is quite a distinction.

Belfry Coach Haywood breaks all time wins record

HL Article from Saturday http://www.kentucky.com/2011/10/22/1930322/belfry-coach-haywood-breaks-states.html#wgt=rcntnews

A great article on Belfry's coach P. Haywood was in today's Ashland paper (Daiy Independent

BELFRY — His recipe for success may be as simple as his coaching philosophy and his wardrobe.

Belfry’s Philip Haywood, wearing his vintage navy blue sports coat, grey trousers and red and black tie, walked onto the field at Pike County Central Friday night on the doorstep of coaching history.

Class! They don't make em like that anymore.

This photo is a good one.

I enjoyed the article in the HL. Also liked the picture of he and Dudley shaking hands. Two of the all-time greats for sure.

Not very often Coach Haywood's players would have the, um, guts to dump water on him. This Friday was an exception.
