Cupp is the pitcher for Holmes this year.

 

Is she comparable to the pitcher from Holy Cross? I know she is a good athlete and has caught and played SS but have only seen her pitch a couple times. It is too bad that Holmes doesn't have another pitcher, because Cupp is a really good catcher.

If HC would step their schedule up a bit it would help Moran out if she is so good. hitting 600 it must be slow pitch

 

Have you ever seen Moran play? Believe me she is good and she can hit against anyone.

 

I would definitely take Ginn and Gregg any day, but they have a much better supporting cast too and excellent coaching.

Step it up against who, they played just about everyone in NKY. Didn't get down state much but who around here does. She hit her home runs against, Beechwood (2), Simon Kenton (2), Highlands, Dixie, Fleming County, Nicholas County

 

She faced NCC, Brossart, Ryle, St Henry, Connor who all have good pitching and hit well against all of them expect 0-1 against Ryle. Not the best schedule ever but not real bad about the same as everyone one else.

 

Maybe there is a reason she had nourmous full ride offers as a sophomore.

Yes she is comparable to the HC pitcher. Cupp can play all 9 positions. I agree with the catching statement. I think that catching and shortstop are her best positions. But she can really play anywhere and not only does she play them good she knows how to play them.

Didn't the Doom 95 play the summer before last in 2010. I thought that was the last year that Grace played travel ball. Additionally I have been following travel ball for quite a few years.

 

If the HC pitcher can throw strikes and keep it low she will be good, at least within the district. I just didn't know of any other pitchers in the district that I can compare her to. Are you aware of any?

I have always gone to the Doom tournaments at the beginning of the summer season and have seen the Doom teams play there a number of times as well as at a few other parks. I know they play most of their tournaments out of town but they did play a couple locally here and there. They are always fun to watch.

Kids dont get full rides for athletics, maybe after academic and financial aid kicks in. Play some teams out of the 9th region which is the weakest in the state except for the Boone Co teams Ryle Conner, Walton, Boone Co, St Henry. Play in a tourney in the Western

part of the state. I know for sure Ryle and Walton travel and play agaisnt some of the best pitchers in the state.
