This has actually been driving me nuts to the point I'm looking up random teams on KHSAA's website to try and figure this out.

Give us some geographic hints on the teams that remain be it western ky, eastern, northern etc... As was already stated there is no rhyme or reason to the teams on this list so it's hard to figure out.

Obviously Ashland has played far fewer playoff games than Danville to be tied at 97 games but needing over a year longer to play that many.

It has been a while since this thread was updated. One team -- Williamsburg -- dropped out when they saw their 115-game streak end with a shutout loss to Hazard in the playoffs last year
