Christian County 19 Graves County 18 OT

Featured Replies

Final. Graves Co. goes for two in overtime and does not make it. Tied at 12 at the end of regulation.

If there is a harder-luck team in Kentucky than Graves County I don't know who it is. It seems like they are in every game only to lose on a last second play every weekend.

Graves is the best 2-6 win team in the state, I guarentee that! Graves has now lost 4 games to ranked teams by 5 combined total points. Only Mayfield and Madisonville have managed to beat the Eagles by more than a TD

Christian had 191 total yards on the night

Man the football Eagles remind me alot of UK teams over the years, they just come close often but rarely get over the hump

Christian won the district title and will have home field in the playoffs. Graves gave em a scare last night and could have won the game. If ever a team needed a by week it would be this Colonel team. Playing on the road week after week against good teams has took a toll. Time to heel up make adjustments and get ready for the playoffs.

Graves most likely will be a 3 seed and play WC in the first round. That should be one of the better 1st round games in the state. Both teams are wing-t and should be very physical.

A Graves County/Warren Central matchup will certainly have a compelling storyline given that's the first time Coach Rogers will meet his former school.
