Lone Oak 49 Owensboro 22

Featured Replies

Piecing together some details ... Owensboro's quarterback was picked off on all of his first four passes, and one of them was run back for a touchdown by a freshman cornerback. Lone Oak led 28-0 in the first 10 minutes, was stopped inside the 5 late in the first half and was up 49-8 in the fourth quarter.

Wow, I expected Lone Oak would probably win, but, expected a 7-14 point type margin. OBoro has really been struggling as of late. Sounds like they've laid down on Coach Prince.

Owensboro just isnt as good as what they are used to.

Owensboro is a lot worse than they were thought to be even about a month ago.

It sounds like Owensboro has had some key injuries, and I think everyone knew from the start that they wouldn't be quite as good this year as they've been the last 4-5 years. Through the first four weeks, they seemed fine ... they hammered Daviess County and Apollo, lost to Owensboro Catholic in the last minute and gave Lafayette a good game in Lexington.

Since then, it's been ugly.

How hot is the coaches seat right now?
