Did CCH have a soccer game out of town? It's rare for CCH to miss PATs.

 

 

The CovCath soccer team indeed was out of town playing in Ashland, Ky

 

They tied Huntington WV 2-2 on Friday night and Evan Talkers scored a goal

They then defeated Ashland Paul Blazer by a score of 9-0 but don't have the stats for that game.

 

BTW; Dressman is a sophomore and he is not a soccer player but is an outstanding athletic who started on the JV basketball team as a Freshmen.

No he played as a RB but the freshmen QB Adam Wagner got in for one play at the end of the game. Freshmen Nate Bailey earned his first varsity tackle of his career and another frosh Lucas Foertsch got into the game too.

 

It was a great night for the subs who have played so hard against the starters in practice each day while being the scout teams. Congrats to all of them on a wonderful night of football.

Adam Talkers netted three goals in the 9-0 victory over Ashland and my main man Adam Goddard netted one goal today so he doesn't have to cut my grass this week for me!

If this was bad choice for homecoming, wait till Thursday. PC Senior Night against HHS!

I stand corrected. These 4 or 5 freshmen that played have dressed for games this year. This is the first time they've seen action.

I assume they are still playing on the freshman team. Or are they playing JV? Interesting move having freshmen dress. Although I believe a lot of teams let freshmen dress after the freshman season ends. Do any other big schools allow freshmen to dress varsity before the freshman season ends?

They are playing frosh ball.

I like the idea of dressing freshman QB's, let them get the feel of the game.

I have also heard Coach Wirth say that freshman should play freshman ball.
