I think it's time for my first late-night gripe of this newly-restored late-night thread:

 

So I have 16 cousins on my mother's side of the family. Only one of the 16 didn't attend Trinity, St. X or Assumption high school in Louisville. That's one of 16 that didn't go through a Louisville Catholic high school. Guess who is getting married on Friday night right in the middle of the Trinity-St. X game? Didn't one of her siblings or her father think to mention this little detail? I can't skip out on my cousin's wedding and I'm sure it'll be a good time... but I'm not happy about it.

After you said it was way over 5k I just threw out a guess...I'm sure it's mid 7k but I don't feel like doing the math or looking it up.

WHo remembers our old friend HSSRB? His bro got married on a Friday night during the CCH/Beechwood game. My phone was ringing off the hook for updates(pre-texting days).

Nothing interesting. Just showed up late and the pizza was cold. This way I get to get it right out of the oven and not have to worry about some guy getting lost or overloaded.

 

Never had a problem with the Pizza Hut near my house... other than being stuck with food from a Pizza Hut that I for some reason paid good money for... again.

Never had a problem with the Pizza Hut near my house... other than being stuck with food from a Pizza Hut that I for some reason paid good money for... again.

 

I used to be a big Pizza Hut customer and then had so so-so pizzas and haven't been back. Too many decent-to-good pizzas around to put up with bad pizza. My current local NKY fave pickup pizza is Noce's in Crestview Hills.

Good thing nobody in my family cares about High School football. I would have made someone mad.

Freschetta is better than most delivery pizza, you get it fresh out of the oven, and it's cheaper.

It's scary to think we've been here since before text messages...and for some of us...before cellphones were all that popular.

^ Been a member since 2001 and it was nearly two years before I got my first cell phone in the fall of 2003.
