Henry Clay has started out the season 0-4. Never would have thought this would happen. They are hungry for a win. Can they come into Winchester on the reunion of the 1991 4A State Championship night and get the win? Your thoughts and predictioins.

I think GRC will win by 7-14 points and Henry Clay will continue to struggle without Miller.

Is a good question. Both teams must rebound after being handled at home. The teams are very similar with having an explosive player in the backfield but not much through the air or sustained offense. Should be a good one.

GRC lost to Bryan Station @ Bryan Station.

Is Miller injured?

GRC lost to Bryan Station @ Bryan Station.

my apologies. Was at Station. Both teams were handled, now need to bounce back. Have a mirror image with explosive playmakers in the backfield on the ground, not much through the air. Should be a good one.

No problem. Sould be a big crowd as the 1991 4A State Champs will be honored at the game. Been 20 years since GRC has won a state title in Football. That year they had to beat Trinity and St X both for the title...no small feat as we all know the tradition of both football programs.

Also former assistant coach Marty Joyce of the GRC 1991 team will be on the sidelines of HC now as their assistant. Should be a great game.

Henry Clay 27-21.

Henry Clay at Clark County

Records: Henry Clay 0-4 (lost to Tates Creek 21-14); Clark County 2-1 (lost to Bryan Station 40-19)

Match race: Who'll find more running room — Henry Clay's Davion Jackson or Clark County's Pokey Harris? Jackson, averaging almost 10 yards a carry, has emerged as the Blue Devils' biggest threat. Harris has rushed for 700 yards and 10 TDs in four games. Leading the Henry Clay defensive effort against Harris will be linebacker Charles McCarty, who had 12 tackles last week.

Sweet memories: Clark County will mark the 20th anniversary of its unbeaten state championship team with a pre-game cookout and halftime ceremony Friday night. The 1991 Cardinals, led by Eric Clay, Jerome Embry and Tim Hampton, beat Trinity in the semifinals and St. Xavier in the finals to finish 15-0. Clark County was coached by Don Danko and top assistant Marty Joyce. Joyce is now an assistant at Henry Clay. Current Cards coach Paul Columbia was also on the staff 20 years ago.
