jude Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 My wife and I are very sorry to hear about your loss. We will be praying for the Cooper family and friends in this tough time.
Clyde Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 I knew Randy a little bit from years ago when he used to coach a young team. If his dad was like Randy then ol' Lloyd was a good man.
Bailey Howell Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Mr. Cooper was a fine man! He never was to busy to stop and talk to you when he saw you.
Ram Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Lloyd was a great man, and his wife is an equally good person. I hate this for the family. They are very close knit. Their Grandson, Mike Salmons, is an assistance Football Coach at Raceland. All great people.
sidelinedoc Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 3 deaths in less than a week is too much for most. Let's see how the boys handle this Saturday night.
cnc78 Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Wow sometimes it seems that when it rains it pours. Will add this to our prayer list . Hang in there Ram nation...God has His plan..If He be for us none can stand against us.
oldjarhead Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 I knew his son Randy for many years. You can not become that Great of a man without having a Great father. The Cooper family has made this world a better place.
giantkiller Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Another loss to the football world, Prayers and thoughts to the Rams family and the Cooper family
JOHNDUNHOFT Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Like I told OldRambler yesterday Lloyd was a terrific man and person and a exceptionally great father and husband I will miss him and our talks about football. His son Randy my former brother-in-law learned from the best. I pray for the Cooper family and Ram Nation Family for what they are going through this week. May God Bless. JD
oldrambler Posted September 8, 2011 Author Posted September 8, 2011 Thanks to all who have posted. Some mentioned knowing Randy (coop) but not his father. Like a couple that have already said both were amazing persons, the entire family was like that. Always a kind word, words of encouragemen. They both are together again now and watching their teams play from a better seat than anyone here will have.
