September 2, 201115 yr I think your receivers are solid enough. My personal preference is using a RB in the flex position, and you have three very good ones. I vote to stick with what you've got. Jackson or Jacobs would be solid flex plays as well.
September 2, 201115 yr My thoughts exactly! And I turned it down, but he just now countered and offered Santonio Holmes and Steve Breaston for Shonn Greene, but I don't think that really sweetness the deal much for me. I'd counter with Jackson or Jacobs plus Edwards or Branch for Greene.
September 2, 201115 yr Author He just offered to give me Santonio Holmes and Pierre Garcon...I'd give up Shonn Green. Thoughts? I'm really torn.

September 2, 201115 yr Author I'll say this.. The dude is DESPERATE for Shonn Greene. His RBs: LeShaun McCoy Ahmad Bradshaw Felix Jones Danny Woodhead His WR: Hakeem Nicks Santonio Holmes Jeremy Maclin Pierre Garcon Steve Breaston

Do you think Shonn Greene will seize the lead back role in NY this season and be their bell-cow? If he does, I think he'll be better than Forte. Personally, I just don't think he will. He was supposed to do it last year and couldn't. Why should I believe in him this season? Jackson and Jacobs both significantly outproduced him last season and I think, at worst, they'll be about the same in 2011. But, that's just my opinion on Greene. I'd take the new trade offer. But, I'm skeptical of Greene.

I just love having a player with Greene potential in my flex spot.

That's why I suggested trying to get Holmes for one of the other guys...even Forte if you really believe in Greene. Sometimes you gotta go with your gut. I also thought it might be worth exploring the possibility of acquring Ahmad Bradshaw, assuming you keep Jacobs. It would be nice to have them both I think.

Yeah, I tried to offer him Jackson before, so I could keep Greene, but that would give his top top three RBs the same bye week I guess and he didn't want to do that.
September 2, 201115 yr In two years, Greene has 294 carries for 1307 yards and 4 TD's. Jacobs has 1658 yards on 371 carries and 15 TD's in that span. Neither of those two are significant options in the passing game. Jackson is more involved in the passing game. In the last two years, he has produced 2575 total yards on 537 touches and 11 TD's. That is sharing time or even being ignored for a few weeks during the season. I don't think that will happen this year. Jackson has rarely failed to produce for the Bills when they give him the ball. For whatever reason, they never seemed committed to him. Now, with Lynch gone, I think he'll be the guy for 16 games and I expect him to have a pretty solid year. I don't believe C.J. Spiller will eat into his production much. I'd do it and feel good about having 4 good backs and 3 good receivers instead of 5 and 2.

September 2, 201115 yr Author I love BGP. You're really selling me 5wide, and I'm leaning in that direction. Thank you for doing the grunt work on the research lol.
