After BW and Mayfield in class A, it drops off considerably. If both moved to 2A, that class would be loaded with good teams.

SK is kinda young would choose Mayfield over Beechwood but not by much. This should be one of the better games of the year when these 2 play.

Amen brother... If they had 4 classes today, 1a would be loaded. Besides Mayfield and Beechwood, you'd have NCC, OB Cath, Murray, Cov HCross, Somerset, Danville and a couple other really good teams..

I don't know what SK team you watched. The one that played BWood wasn't very good. Maybe the weakest OL I've seen, especially for a 6a team. Greenwood was about as bad offensively, but, they were at least decent defensively. Sk had a nice team last year, but, obviously they lost a good chunk of it...

 

Not saying SK was good by any stretch. I'm just saying they are much better than Greenwood.

Why would you say SK is better than Greenwood. Neither team is that good. When you make that 4.5 hour drive in Nov. You will see a fast 1A team , Crunch.

 

Hey Snake, I have no doubt we'll see a fast 1A team. What I will say is that I watched the MF/Greenwood game on the internet and it wasn't overly impressive or fast. Greenwood's OL wasn't strong just as SK's wasn't. IMO, the internet doesn't do a game or team a whole lot of justice so I don't bet all my chips on seeing a game via the web.

 

I also think you will see a pretty fast and disciplined 1A team in late Nov if things continue to progress and barring any unfortunate injuries to either team.
