I had to do it. Lets be honest, they have a few nice offensive players in Pike/Cohorn and Bruns but is this team going to be above 500 at the end of the year? The coaching takes a bashing on here and the kids are not in very good condition early in the season with many playing both ways. Will they be prone to injuries by week 6 and start to fade?

He's a nice guy and we're not worthy of judging him or the program. (Those are the things I've been told in the past when I asked that question.)

Never understood the preseason hype about Dixie.

A new offense and defense of line.

To many kids going both ways.

Questionable coaching staff.

They have one player who fit the mold of a D1 player, but had good but not great numbers as QB.

I don't think so. Dixie starting slow is nothing new and maybe the players will play into shape as they gain experience.

I agree with the injury factor.

 

Do not believe they can beat Boone but should be able to beat Cooper easily.

Until Dixie is able to get the number of players involved in football that a 6A school should have, they will always be a question mark. For whatever reason, there are several kids year in and year out walking the halls that could help this team that have no interest in playing.

I'd like to see a change in defensive philosophy. Tired of watching teams run right at them successfully over and over and over again. Also a bit shocking at a 6A school that many kids play both ways. Seriously?

Dixie has been the same way for years. Whether they are up 20 points or down 50. They run what they run and don't adjust for anything or anyone.

The freshman team has 24 kids on it. No reason a 6a school should have that low of numbers. Lack of coaches finding talent. Other school build at lower levels not Dixie.
