What does everyone think about this game? This is not the same Christian County team as last year--predictions? Can they duplicate their past successes?

Should be a pretty good game. Madisonville is a talented team and I believe this is their year to make some noise in WKY.

Christian County has to replace 10 starters on offense and 7 on defense. Madisonville has their best team n many years with two D1 studs. The last two years Christian won by a point and made a goal line stand on the 1 winning by 3 points. I look for a close game again this year.

The free safety is named Jeremy Clark and has committed to Michigan. The quarterback is named Trey Carr and is getting lower Division I looks as a receiver. They may have an offensive lineman gettig some looks, too.

This game is at Madisonville and their expectations are very high this year. T Carr is absolutely fun to watch play unless your trying to catch and tackle him. I look for Madisonville to win this one and set the tone for football in Hopkins County. Christian County is just reloading again this season, but they have to find a solid quarterback. CC will improve through the season.

The Colonels no longer have Bubba Tandy to pull them out of a jam & Anthony Hickey is getting ready to play basketball for LSU. Coach Weaver has the players to make a solid run in 4A this year with Madisonville and they should be able to get the first win of the season against CC.

Madisonville is the real deal this year. I look for them to really explode on the scene this year and make a deep playoff run.. Christian will be talented, as always, but, will also be young and inexperienced at a several positions.. I think Madisonville will take this game, but, if it were week 6 to 10, it could very well be a different outcome.
