Try to find a table with 3-2 odds on blackjack instead of 6-5. Remember that all those crazy prop bets they have like "Lucky Ladies" and such are all just another way for them to rip you off.
August 5, 201115 yr Author It's not a 50/50 chance on every hand. Maybe not 50/50, but I would think that the odds would be the same from one hand to the next. The only slight difference being the number of high cards left in the shoe -- and knowing that requires serious card counting skills.

I hit like $500 the first time I tried that. :lol: Put a $10 bet down on the "1st 2 equal 20" thing at Hollywood and hit a 40 or 50 to 1 bet. But I agree, stay away from those things.

Harrah's casinos have a new prop bet on 3 card poker and if your hand and the dealer's hand has a 9 thru Ace of Diamonds you win a million dollars, but we figured it to be a little over 20 million to 1 odds. They have other smaller payouts, but they acted it was easy to win a million.
August 5, 201115 yr DO NOT TAKE EVEN MONEY! Hit on a soft 18 if the dealer had a face card showing. Don't be afraid to surrender. Don't play any of the extra dumb games the offers while you play. If you don't know what to do, just ask someone. I would much rather someone ask if they don't know what to do. Good Luck!

If you're paying attention to all the hands played, you'll have a pretty good feel for what cards are still in the shoe, and that's when you press your bets to take advantage of a favorable shoe.
