What does Carroll County need to do to improve in 2011/2012? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Carroll will have Devine returning. Looks like from the khsaa stats last year she averaged around 27 ppg game. Other than that dont know much about them and didnt get a chance to see them play at Cooper.

Coach Mefford will have to find ways to get even more shots for Hannah Devine, if that's possible. The Panthers could have a hard time putting points on the board. But, Coach Mefford usually finds a way to be successful.

Coach Mefford lost a lot last year in losing 3 senior starters but he is a great coach and will find a way to put together a competitive club. Hannah Devine will be the key and with some of the other returning ball players that saw action last year.

Mefford should've resigned and Devine should have transfered years ago to a place where they have a decent coach and other talent that could have complimented her. Perhaps Owen Co. Devine and Gayhart would have been unstopable! Carroll County has nothing outside of Devine. I for one am sorry her Senior year will be so bad for her.

Madman, I could not agree with you more. Coach Mefford is a quality man of integrity who definitely knows how to teach and coach the game. His loyalty to his players and program through thick and thin is to be commended.

Coach Mefford is a very good coach and does a lot for all the girls that play for him.Hannah Devine has had a great career at Carroll County and will be just fine her senior season with coach Mefford and don't think she would ever play for anyone else or would have ever wanted to.

That's good stuff Grooms!!!! I was drinking and actually blew Mountain Dew through my nose when I read that. Coach Mefford through the years has always got the most out of the team he has had. Devine is a great player and has had every chance to transfer if she chose to. You see where she's playing her senior season.
