The NKBBCA East-West All Star Game is Wednesday 6/22 at Scott High School.

The Junior Teams play at 6 and the Senior Teams play at 7:30.

How did it go?

West won the Junior All Star game 69-56. West was led by Stansberry from Dixie with 16 and the East was led by Hightchew with 16. I was a little surprised to see that Patrick Towles from Highlands participated in this game since he sat out team camps this month, he scored 8 representing the Birds.

 

In the Sr game the West beat the East 90-81 as Fangman (Beechwood) went off for 31. Nick Gray (SK) who sat out 90% of the season got to play and had 22 fo r the East. The East was led by Stauffer (Ryle) with 30.

 

There is a nice picture in the Enquirer of Nick Gray completing a dunk.

Nice article in the paper today with a picture of SK's Nick Gray getting a dunk and scoring 22 points glad he did good he only played for games this year due to injury.

I think coaches have majority of the input and then you have to factor in who is available to play with vacations, leaving early for school, playing baseball, etc..

3 or 4 of the West players had to play for the East because they only had 3 players.
