After seeing him in the S16 it's hard to believe he didn't even average 14 points per game.

IMO, which isn't worth the gum on the bottom of my flip flops right now, he needs to stick with football. He is a tremendous talent in both, but 6'4 swing men in D1 College basketball are a dime a dozen. Current UK Wide Receiver LaRod King, who was a dual sport star, said in an article when he committed to play football at UK, that "there's a lot of 6'5, 6'6 guys playing college and pro basketball, but there isn't that many 6'5, 6'6 WR's playing D1 and NFL football." He hit the nail on the head with that, and chances are, LaRod King will get his shot at the NFL.

 

However, as another poster said, it's all about what makes you happy and if going to OK State to play hoops is what he thinks is best, then by all means, do it! Congrats and best of luck to this young man.

Wow, impressive for a kid to decommit to a school for another sport to take a basketball scholly. He must be a pretty good hoopster.
