Is this a free scrimmage or is there a small fee?

I went to this scrimmage in Frankfort last year and I believe it was around $5-8 to get in.

If you are a KY All-Star "alum" - former player or coach in a prior KY All-Star team - I know they are letting you in free. Otherwise, there's a small admission charge.

Anyone know why Hickey isn't there?

Didn't know he wasn't. Any others that didn't show? Have they added any?

I was there for the first half. I didn't see Hickey or Fant. I think everyone else was there.

The juniors added Tamron Manning and Isaiah Ivey to their roster. The juniors were no match in the first half. I think it was 53-32 at the half. Remy Abell looked to be the best player on the floor, IMO. It was a 3-8 point game most of the way through the first half and when the lineup was Abell, Taylor,Woods, Rogers and Gaines, maybe, they easily pushed it to a 20 point lead. Great ball movement and everybody scored and they shot a very high percentage during this time as well. That looked to be the best 5 on the floor in the first half.

Thanks. Did you see the 3 point and slam dunk contest. Who won those? Saw just a little of it on the news last night.

No I missed all of that. I got there around 6:45 and they were doing the National Anthem and singing My Old Kentucky Home when I got there. After introductions and stuff it was about 7:00 when they started and I left at halftime around 7:45-7:50.

You can listen to the scrimmage at the above link. The coach for the Sr All stars said that Hickey and Fant was not there due to college committment. I know that Zollo didn't try out as he knew he had to report to Western this past Saturday.

Kates wins the 3 point contest over Gilbert.

Slam Dunk going on now....Taylor just put down a nasty one.

Hickey had to be at LSU today to start taking summer classes but, he will return on Thursday.

Moving on to the finals of the slam dunk are:

Taylor and Marks

Marks gets a 48 on his first dunk.

Taylor missed first 3 attempts...then just did a one had jam for 47 points.

Marks..reverse dunk, no good...second try..no good...bounce off back wall...missed...still got a 32 on a miss.

Taylor get kids out of stands....he is going to jump over them.....dunk good!!

Winner is Ryan Taylor of Western.

A big thanks to Pegasus Sports Network. for broadcasting this!!!!
