Track the NL Central Champion Reds (Week 3)

Featured Replies

Reds still can't win on the west coast. Arizona is he worst team in the NL West. Reds may get swept in San Diego. Harang is 2-0 with the Padres. He has pitched very good his first two starts.

Wait until he pitches away from San Diego...

In the short term yes but it all evens out over the course of the year.

To me I want to know how many times did you come in and do your job as a reliever. How many times did you shut the other team down when you came in with inherited runners?

Masset allowed inherited runners to score 6 out of 18 times last year.

Brian Wilson allowed IRs to score 3 out of 20 times for comparison.

Is 1/3 good?

Brian Wilson is better than Masset tell me something we didn't know.

That was just for reference. Durbin from PHI was 5/21 in a setup role.

The point is that ERA is irrelevant to relievers.

He was in the top 15 in holds last year.

Good.

I still want to know what's acceptable for % of times allowing inherited runners. What's good?

I don't know honestly 30% or less I would guess.

Not a lot of good stats sites for this stat.

The guy that led MLB in holds last year allowed IRs to score in 6 of his 22 times he inherited runs.

No Red even has a hit vs Latos(Only 12 ab's but still). Should be a low scoring game tonight. Over/Under is 6.5 tonight.

For the Reds.

Volquez is pitching so the Padres should easily put a crooked number on the board in the 1st...

Harang is 2 -0 for the Padres.
