PCC takes the 14th Region Title.

I hear that the 14th Region Tournament MVP is a 7th grader for Perry County Central named Braxton Beverly. 7th Grader - WOW!!! ... I thought that MVP Freshman Brandon Hatton from Dixie in the 9th was amazing.... But a 7th grader!?!?... This has to be a first and a long way off before it ever happens again. What did they put in this kid's baby formula??? :eek:

He's supposed to be one of their best players, if not the best, so this isn't just a case of a kid getting hot for three games. Bad news for the rest of the 14th region. They have to play against him for 5 more years.

I was very impressed with what I saw of him in the WYMT TV Mountain Classic, among other games I'd seen him in this year. He's no Hatton, but a very nice player.

Why have we not heard much about this kid? What is his position,height,etc.? Has he started all season? Who are some other PCC players to look for next week? Thanks.

Couple other PCC boys are the Cornett brothers. Senior Dillon 6'8" 320lbs and Sophomore Dalton 6'6" 260lbs.

Dalton Plays with KY Elite and had a great past summer.

Braxton is a point guard. I don't think he started all year but has logged major minutes. Very steady and excellent free throw shooter.

If I am not mistaken he is related to Heston Beverly who played for Dick Fick at Morehead State.

How old is Braxton ? Sorry I couldn't resist. Lol

 

Seriously that is a huge accomplishment for the youngster. What kind of size does he have and how do the parents of the Cornettes keep those boys fed? Wow those are some big boys, I'm guessing theyve had some scraps growing up and broke some furniture.
