New Game Format

I don't think you could run on a schedule of 1PM, 4PM, & 7PM and have the games run on time. I wouldn't mind that schedule, mind you, I just don't think it would work. A high school game normally runs about 2:15, then you have to have some time for trophy presentations, and then you have a 30-45 minute countdown clock for the next game.

Well, I was just trying to show a way to get that first game moved to 1 PM and not 11 AM. Lets say 15 for the trophy presentation and have the press do the interviews off to the side so the next two teams came warm up for 45 mins, what ever time will work. Just start the first game at 1PM and don't have too long between games.

The Championship games should be about the teams who are in it and their fans, and do what will bring more of their fans to the game, the casual football fans are secondary.

They do it in Illinois. 8 games on the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving. 4 each day with starting times of 10:00, 1:00, 4:00 and 7:00.

It works well. I watched all 8 games on television this year. Hopefully, we will be back there live next year.
