I was driving past Boone today and

got a glimpse of their sign. I think it said Oppenheimer will be playing at Georgetown. Can anyone confirm?

Thats where he is headed , I believe he signed this week!

I would love to see Georgetown play Thomas Moore both always have alot of NKY players.

Apparently he has recovered very nicely from the injury hes sustained in the Best of Bluegrass All Star game. At one point in time this was being discussed as a very serious injury. I am glad to hear he is doin fine and congrats to him on GTown. Very tough kid.

I only saw him play at the Best of the Bluegrass All Star game. He runs tough and stays north and south. He'll be a good power runner. When my son (Mason County olineman, Alex Newton) and I made our official visit to Georgetown, we were paired with Jordon and his father. Both seem like great people. I talked with Jordon again at the Mason County - Boone County girls basketball game and urged him to sign with Georgetown. He has a great attitude. I look forward to my son blocking for him the next 4 years.

Is he going to play RB or is he going to play LB? He is a strong power runner, but I am not sure his style fits into the "usual" Georgetown offensive scheme.
