Woodford out played Frankfort the entire game. They allowed FHS one run in the second quarter. But that didn't last long. I am a Frankfort guy and think coach Wise has done a great job. But I am disapointed in the play of the seniors last night and their lack of effort.

 

Woodford seems to be clicking at the right time. Gross and Johnson will be hard to beat on Friday. Should be a great game.

The switch to zone defense was a smart move by Hundley. Also I was watching Johnson signal to Coach Hundley as if he wanted to stay in the game after picking up his second foul early in the second quarter, and Hundley immediately looking down his bench to send in a sub for Johnson. Obviously another very smart coaching move.

Nice game by Woodford County last night. Made the right adjustments in the 2nd quarter to pull out the win. I agree with Fanofthe11th, the 3-2 zone really gave Frankfort fits. I bet Woodford County didnt shoot 10 jump shots last night, lots of points on layups especially in transistion. I would say at least 18 of Rodney Gross' 23 came from layups on run outs. Nice strategy by Woodford County. Should be a great game between Woodford and Franklin on Friday night. Also, great season by the Panthers just couldnt find a way against Woodford all year long. I heard on the postgame last night they finished one win shy of the school record. Coach Wise did a great job this season, good luck to him and the panthers next season.
