Montgomery Co. 65 Paris 56

Final from the 40th District.

Huge night for freshman Erica Rogers with 24 points, most coming in the first half.

The Lady Indians move on the face GRC in the finals on Wednesday night.

Montogmery county has had a much better year than I thought they would. I thought they would really struggle.

Sounded like a battle. Very tough district. Paris could make it to the region most of the time in the other 3 districts.

Nice win. Erica sounds like she has a bright future.

Must have been a heck of a game. I have watched girls high school basketball for 5 years now and I don't believe I have personally witnessed a girl score 30 points, let alone 2 in the same game. Great effort by both girls. I would wonder whatt the other coaches were doing defensively to slow the other one down. It will be interesting next year to see how the coaches game plan to limit the other girls production. Thats next year though this year congrats to BC and good luck.

No big deal. I was just reading your post & thought, "Wow, the Montgomery/Paris game sounded a whole lot like the Bracken/Mason game." Then I saw the "BC" at the end and figured you had posted in the wrong spot. Happens to the best of us. :thumb:
