Excellent win for Villa. Ludlow beat them twice during the regular season.

Villa has a nice sports program. Great gym. Smart players. I have a friend who has a son on one of Villa's 2nd grade teams. The varsity players are very supportive of the little guys (and girls). When the economy rebounds I would not be surprised to see some parents start sending their kids to Villa to play 2-3 (maybe 4) years of varsity ball rather than Cov. Cath. to ride the bench (or get cut).

Next up - Dixie - - "Do you believe in miracles??????"

Serious questions. Is Villa more expensive than CovCath? If you can send your kid to CovCath now, does the economy really prevent you from sending him to Villa instead?

Good win for Villa. They have a lot of quality people involved in the program, and I've thought for years they are a viable option for a segment of the potential CovCath student athletes.

That's been Villa's big argument for years. I don't see it making much of a difference in the future.

Plain and simple not a chance. Dixie by 30+

Villa is around $2,000 more per year than Cov. Cath.

I will take the contrarian position on the Villa/Dixie game and predict a barn burner (i.e. Dixie wins by 20 - 30 pts.) :D
