Should be a great game between Bluegrass Preps #6 team in the State visiting the #3 team.

I don't follow the girls game as much as the boys, but it seems that SHA has really improved over the course of the season. Coach Moir must be doing a very good job. For what it is worth, I'll say they beat Boone.

Extremely tough place to play. Plus, they always seem to have their senior night against Boone which adds some emotion.

I definitely agree with the improvement aspect. I saw them in the LIT and they really looked good; disciplined, good shooters, long defenders, and very well coached. They lost by 2 points to Manual there and since the LIT have beaten Mercy by 9. They just might be the best team in Louisville right now.

 

Gotta believe they will be too much for Boone to handle.

SHA should be able to win this at home. Boone would have a much better chance on a nuetral court.

I know they beat my Lady Raiders in Lexington over the Holidays in a game that could have gone either way. I'm going with Boone in a minor upset.

I wouldn't hesitate to take Boone in a close game "away" from SH's home floor. It's just a very tough place to play. The tightest rims and backboards I have ever seen. Plus, there will be a very long senior night before the game because they seem to recognize dang near every sport and club. The last time I was there the senior night went on for at least 45 minutes while the teams sat and waited. The funniest thing was...SHA didn't have one single senior Bball player on the roster

 

The guards will have to keep their composure when they are pressured in order to give Boone a chance. I predicted 7pt loss because we always seemed to have to foul at the end of the game and they always have solid FT shooters.

I think you and I are on the same page.......................but I do hope Shockey is right and we are wrong!

 

But I can tell him that SH is a different team now versus December. They are playing much better based on the games I saw at Lexington and just recently at the LIT.

It is alwlays tough for a NKY team to get a favorable call when playing there. Add Senior night to that and Boone will have to have an exceptional game to win. I think they can do it.

SHA by 10. I just think they are the best team.

I'm not at all familiar with SH's gym or atmosphere, I was just taking a chance that Boone may get up early and suprise them. I always like seeing our teams play the perennial "Top Teams", and I love when we beat them:)
