Can't really be considered bias when Setty has put an "average" of 23 and 10 this year and then we find out he played most of January with pneumonia. Not to mention the Royals don't really have a slew of weapons ready to score at will. It's all on Treg's shoulders and he has handled it very well.

 

All that matters is what that picture shows, 4-Peat. No 10th Region team has won 4 straight region titles in over 65 years. Only Maysville and Mason County have won 3 straight region titles, Royals have done it 3 times, Maysville just once.

 

I'm just ready for the regional tournament, MORE than ready.

If Black or Gilbert got as many shot attempts as Setty, they would be averaging 20+ also. This team can win region if some learn what an assist is.

Setty is without a doubt the best player on Mason County's team, and you can make a very compelling argument on him being the best player in the Region. Any Mason County fan that complains about the amount of shots he takes is crazy IMO.

Know Mason County was without Pawsat, but Henry Clay was also without Keisling, who came into the year as the #7 player in the 11th according to Cat's Pause.

 

Also, from what I saw of Setty at the state tourney last year, I'd be ranking Zollo and Stenzel up there with, and above, him. I've heard some say that Setty didn't have a great showing there, but the state tourney is usually the only time of the year I see Mason Co. personally, so that's all I have to go off of. But, I do think that seeing top talent play against other top talent is the best way to gauge where that player is at.

It's funny reading your posts because you only seem to post in Mason County threads and they are usually negative. You have quite the gift, don't worry, next year Black will be getting most of the shots and should see around 20 or so game. What help he has will determine how far the Royals go.
