17 all, Louisville with 5 made threes already halfway through the first.

Jennings is having a lot of trouble getting involved against the zone, which is too bad because he's really elevated his game lately. Dieng hasn't played yet, I don't know if that means he's still not 100% or if it's more of a concern that he doesn't have the experience yet against the 2-3 that you never stop hearing about the entire time that Syracuse is on the television, as if Boeheim's intractable, stubborn clinging to that defense is a virtue.

Anyone looked at Mike Marra's stats lately? Man he is bad.

And just like that Jennings does some beautiful dirty work in the lane on back to back possessions. 26-23 Syracuse right now, 4:15 left.

He's been injured, but healthy enough to suit up, which with Louisville's number of wounded has meant he's had to play on a bad ankle and with a bad back. He's not the best guy out there, but he's better than his recent line.

I don't think so. Pretty much consistent with all his number since he came to UL.

If UL doesnt win by at least 3 then I hope they get blown out.

Not his numbers earlier this year. He had progressed, and then he took a step back with his wheels going bad.

Wow what a run to end the half. Now please come out and put your foot on their throats so I dont have to sweat out a bet til the final seconds for once.

On Marra, it was of course against our weaker opponents, but he was probably the best all-around player in the pre-conference:

His line against Butler was pretty indicative:

4-10 FG, 11 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 TO, 2 steals

First 10 games... Or as you like to call it Pre-Conference.

20-74... 27% from 3

32- 94...34% From the field

9.3 PPG in that time frame

9.4 FG attempts per game

Last 7 games...

6-24 25% from 3

8-31 25.8% from the field

About 3 PPG in that time

4.5 FG attempts per game.

Sorry Ram your wrong he just sucks.

What a RUN to end the half... 21-4! This teams is capable of these kinds of bursts, and Boeheim's aforementioned affinity for a defense he hasn't tweaked in 25 years (and which Pitino knows how to attack better than anyone in the country) really helps Louisville have comfortable looks at the basket from deep.
