Montgomery County 69 Bracken County 62

Featured Replies

Final from Mt. Sterling.

Good win for the Indians over a solid Bracken Co team. Omar Prewitt with another double-double 19 and 12. Montgomerry Co was playing without starting point guard Brandon Fruth (ankle)

I would think that this result gives the Bracken County faithful reason to believe that they can play with and even defeat Mason County in the 39th.

Andrew Cummins also had a double-double (21 pts. 11 boards) for Bracken.

Woods for Bracken also had a good game. He hit a bunch of 3's.

Is the other Cummins (Josh?) back in the lineup yet?

Yes, Josh was in the starting line-up tonight. It was his 2nd game back.

^ Thanks for the update. I knew he had been out for a while. I used to play some golf with his dad but haven't seen him for several months.

Congrats to Coach Griesser, Staff and team on the win. Really playing well at the end of regular season. Hope Fruth's ankle is not to bad. At this time in the season, injuries and sickness is going to play a big part in how the tournament goes. It is effecting all the teams now. Good luck to the Indians Sat. vs LCA.

Nobody wanted to draw Mason, and Bracken would love to trade places with either St. Patrick or Augusta. But if there was ever a year in recent years to draw the Royals, this is it. Still a very tough hill to climb for Bracken, especially playing the Royals on the road.

Woods for Bracken also had a good game. He hit a bunch of 3's.

Woods is a streaky shooter. When he gets hot, he's an invaluable weapon for BC.
