Boone Co 56 Campbell Co 51

Final according to KHSAA web site. Closer than I expected. Details?

CC gets blown out by Conner yet plays Boone and NDA close.

Boone may have been looking ahead to tomorrow? No Nell? :idunno:

According to some posters, Nell does not make a difference! I believe she does!!

From what I was told is that the Lady Camels lead at a couple of different points in the game, but Boone kept up the pressure.

Moss had 13 points and played some really good defense.

The Lady Camels certainly had their chances. 26 -25 @ Half (Boone on top). The 2nd Half started ugly for CC. Three turnovers on consecutive possessions. The difference was Boone' s inside play and the number of turnovers and missed free throws by the Lady Camels. This was a good game for CC as many would have suspected a possible lopsided affair. Not the case at all. They never quit and are playing with a great deal of heart heading down the stretch. BTW - The ability to pass and spot open players is (IMO) one of Syndney Moss' finer qualities. She is fun to watch!

For starters, I wasn't at the game, but if Conner just dropped CC by 26pts, plus, Moss only scored 13pts...there's no doubt Boone was just trying to get this game overwith and in the books. 3 games in 3 day's is brutal and when the 3rd game of that stretch is so crucial against arguably the best team in the 9th there's little doubt why last nights game was closer than expected...IMO!

On a good note...Boone got what they needed and CC gained some confidence as well...win/win

Have to agree. Campbell County is not 26 points worst than Conner. They have a good team. They made the NDA game exciting til the end by just sort of hanging around into the 4th qtr. A couple of 3's later, and it was a 3 or 4 point game at the end.

Boone did what they needed to do, but give the Camels some credit.
