Paducah Tilghman beat Marshall County by one point last week. Marshall beat Tilghman by four a few weeks earlier.

 

Does Fulton County, Graves County, and Heath have anything for these two in the First Region

Marshall just defeated Heath last night by 20. It should come down to Marshall and Paducah Tilghman. Graves County might slip in there with the right draw and keep an eye out for Ballard Memorial.

Paducah Tilghman and Marshall are neck and neck right now. Graves could beat one of them but they have to shoot extremely well to beat either one and would have a hard time beating both of them.

Heath knocked off Graves @ Graves by 10 last week and went down to the wire with Paducah Tilghman. They will have a shot if they can stay away from Marshall in the bracket.

 

I really don't see anyone else winning it at all. Someone could pull off an upset of either Heath or Graves but don't see any of the others beating Paducah Tilghman or Marshall.

Like sweet16, I have a hard time seeing anybody but Tilghman and Marshall winning it. They've split two games, but Tilghman has more potential and should remain the favorite.

 

Graves and Heath are the next two ... Ballard just had two players leave the team, and Fulton County is athletic but has guard issues.

Ballard has ballhandling issues as well. Nobody is as athletic as Fulton County except for maybe Paducah Tilghman but guard issues, erratic play, and a weak schedule have hurt them. Leonard Smith is a beast when he wants to be.

Ok thanks, do you have any idea how the districts down there would shake up b/c I know those three schools are in the same district??

Who knows what the state will do? The region will be down to 14 teams, so there may be some schools coming in from Region 2 ... I would say Livingston Central, Lyon County and maybe even Caldwell County.
